Sambalpur News : Two People Are Missing From the Hirakud Dam Reservoir in Sambalpur, Odisha

Sambalpur News: On Sunday in the Sambalpur district of Odisha, two people went missing while taking a dip in the Hirakud Dam Reservoir.

The two individuals, according to sources, had visited the Jhankarani temple, which is close to the reservoir. They walked to the reservoir to take a bath before entering the temple, but they never returned.

Family members went to the temple since they didn't come home for a while. However, there was no sign of the pair; only their garments were found. The relatives told the police they thought they might have perished in the reservoir.

The Hirakud police station sent a squad to the scene to begin an investigation. Fire crews launched a search operation in the reservoir after receiving a call from the police, but they were unable to find the two people.

According to the sources, the missing people are workers for Hirakud's ambulance service.
